New pics of Dax

He may hate me for this someday, but who can resist this cute little bottom! This was just before bath time with daddy.

I walked into Dax's room this morning noticing that he fell asleep really quick. Low and behold, he has discovered his thumb! How cute it this!

New discoveries

Dax has officially discovered his tongue and loves to stick it out and lick his lips all the time. Notice, he clearly has mommy's very big lips...his are a little overexagerated in this pic:)

We also finally have a belly button! Mommy hated waiting for the umbilical cord to dry out...she would rather change a hundred dirty diapers than see that thing again! We love our Dax! We are working hard at getting him on a schedule. Last night he slept for 4 hours than fed and then slept another 4 hours. Mommy feels like a new woman today!

Can't get enough of him!

Here are some fun pics to enjoy. First, Dax got himself into a bind during naptime...we call him Houdini because he always manages to "escape" from being swaddled. The last pic is Dax just relaxing while mom is trying to burp him...its really tough being a baby. We are so in love with our sweet little boy. Thank you LORD for this precious gift!

BLOWOUT!

Today, May 14th, 2009, marks the first blowout in the life of Dax Danger Frazer...and let me tell you, it was dangerous! Daddy was holding him and all the sudden I saw poop bubbling out of the back of his diaper. That's when daddy said, "oh, gosh, I think I'm gonna gag!" So we hosed him down and now he as as good as new; cute as ever.

The sweetest boy EVER!

Ohhhh! I LOVE being a mom! Dax is the sweetest little baby ever. He sleeps great,,,eats great...already weighs over his birth weight...and is altogether content. My favorite time is feeding time. He is actually in my arms right now...not wanting to nap so that's all for my blog

Dax Danger Frazer

Hey everyone! Here I am! A sweet little boy, weighing in at 7lbs. 10oz., 20 1/2 in. long! I was born on Tuesday morning, May 5th at exactly 1 a.m. in the morning. My mommy had to have a c-section because I was crooked in her. We are all doing great and we love life! My mommy will update more when she is not so tired and sore. Thanks for praying for me so much!

Please pray with us

It is late on Saturday night and I am just sitting in the baby's room, praying and preparing my heart for this new phase in our lives. Tomorrow night, Sunday, Drew and I will head into the hospital where they will begin my induction process. LORD willing, we will have a baby sometime on Monday, May 4th. I just want to come to you and ask that you join us in praying for a safe and healthy delivery.

Throughout the latter half of my pregnancy God gave me a verse to be praying over this baby and over my own heart.
1 Samuel 1:27-28
"I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD."

There are so many unknowns and what ifs as we come into this new season...starting with whether or not the delivery will be safe and the baby will be healthy. I feel like the LORD is continually reminding me of this verse..."give him/her to Me, Drew and Stacy." We are so excited, so overwhelmed by God's goodness in keeping this baby safe for all these months, and so overjoyed at this baby joining our lives. Yet we want open hands to God's will for us; for how He wants to sanctify our lives through this baby.

Will you please pray that we would have hearts fully devoted to trusting the LORD? Thank you so much and we will keep you posted!
